A feature that every owner has said is "Fantastic" is the VTS – Variable Trolling Speed switch, which allows one to troll slower than the standard in-gear idle. just each 'click' of the switch on the tiller handle or optional multi-function tachometer, either up or down, changes the speed by 50-RPM This allows for better fishing, as trolling speeds can finally be adjusted accurately and slow-enough for those really 'finicky' species! (pun intended). The VTS switch is standard equipment now on all F25 - F115 Tiller Handle models and is available if using the optional Yamaha Command Link multi-function tachometer. Our 1.8-liter I-4 F115 is the lightest DOHC 115-hp In-Line Four on the water by nearly 25 pounds, leading its class in power-to-weight. It not only bests the competition, but it also beats Yamaha’s previous F115 design, with a zero-to-200-foot acceleration time that’s 0.7 seconds faster.
